Prodotto, fattori di videoevoluzione is an Italian company specializing in Branded Entertaiment television formats.
It has designed and implemented various programs broadcast on Italian general channels, including Rete 4 and Canale 5.

THE CHALLENGE

The special positioning of the company and its founder Riccardo Pasini, the first in Italy to work with Branded Entertainment and ‘tailor made’ television programs, required a formal recognition. STAND OUT, after having strengthened the image and presence of Prodotto in the media, identifying it as the first Italian company for Branded Entertainment, then thought that Prodotto should look to the academic world and become well-differentiated and recognized at the university level as the ‘company that brought Branded Entertainment to Italy.’

THE SOLUTION

In order to initiate a direct dialogue with some of the most advanced institutions on communication and to get in touch with the younger generation, STAND OUT designed and implemented in collaboration with Prodotto two workshops (April 2013 and November 2014) at the prestigious University of Milan IULM, Free University of Communication, in direct agreement with the Dean of the Faculty of Communication, Public Relations and Advertising, Gianni Canova.

The goal was to position Prodotto, fattori di videoevoluzione as a company with a channel for privileged dialogue with the academic world and engage students who give new perspectives on the television machine and its evolution. The workshops, thanks to support of authoritative spokesperson from the television world and the company who have had direct experience with branded entertainment, have therefore offered views from an elevated perspective on a new way of making television that continues to grow.

THE RESULTS

The two workshops were an excellent showcase for Prodotto. STAND OUT reached its objectives and Prodotto opened a formal channel with the University IULM, becoming a reference company for internships and consultancies. In addition, the initiative has enabled a significant media turnaround in the main industry, attracted by the participation of important personalities from the communications world of major Italian brands.
