HRD Training Group is the largest Italian managerial and behavioral training company, active for over 20 years all across the country with 17 centers spread from north to south. Founded in 1992 by Roberto Re, HRD was the first Italian company to undertake training by making a clear distinction between human resource development and education, with the aim of transferring innovation and motivation. HRD Training Group has trained more than 250,000 people over the years and has collaborated with several of the leading Italian companies, contributing to the training of managers and corporate groups for firms such as Autogrill, Fiat, Henkel, Allianz, Novartis and many more.

The Challenge

In 2010, HRD Training Group established the Italian Leadership Event (ILE), the only Italian event dedicated to leadership and its key players that fully reflects the philosophy of HRD: helping to stimulate personal growth. The prestigious recognition has hosted leading Italians of excellence, faces with strong media appeal and strong personalities, who told the audience their own stories, their victories and defeats. STAND OUT has worked for years with HRD and accepts the growing challenge of organizing the Italian Leadership Event every year.

The Solution

STAND OUT handled all aspects of envisioning and organizing the event and its communication. Now in its fourth edition, the Italian Leadership Event boasts the participation of the likes of Flavio Briatore, Giusy Versace, Pietro Mennea, Marcello Masi, Platinette, Fabio Talin, Federico Grom, Oliviero Toscani, Davide Brivio, Paul Crepet, Simona Atzori, Jessica Rossi and many others. STAND OUT and HRD have coined the new hybrid formula of the combined entertainment and training event, enjoying great success not only with the audience but also in the media. Organized at the University of Milano-Bicocca, the four editions of ILE have been attended by about 600 people per year in an event lasting two days.

The Results

Today, the Italian Leadership Event is the only event dedicated to Italian leadership, and it retains its originality. Precisely for this reason, Stand Out has received wide media coverage in past years, garnering the interest of journalists from web and print, including Affari Italiani, Panorama, Il Giorno, and more. Given its success, preparation for the fifth edition of the award in 2015 is underway, with major innovations in the structure and new personalities as guests. The new participants, interviewed by Roberto Re, will share their knowledge and tell their stories as inspiration for the lucky participants.
